Cooking Course – Gin Dee, “eat well”
The concept of the course comes from Krit the instructor who believes that making and eating food should be a relaxed, joyful and delicious experience. Krit will teach you not only how to cook the food but also share a little folklore about the dishes, and some of the medicinal properties of the ingredients. The Gin Dee U Dee concept of eating well and living well are reflected on throughout the course.
We offer two kinds of cooking programs: 1. All your Thai favorites 2. Thai favorites and local seasonal specialties.
These three day courses are 3,200 Thai baht per person. The vegetarian (or vegan) cooking courses include making soya milk & tofu, preparing and cooking 11 Thai dishes and optional morning yoga sessions. All the dishes will be prepared using as much organic and seasonal produce as possible and without MSG. Cost covers accommodation for 3 nights, farm tour, all meals, instruction, pick up in Chiang Mai (if three or more people) and a recipe booklet.
This course runs weekly, starting Monday through Thursday; we prefer to run the course when we have 3 or more participants. The restaurant is located in the Wat Suan Dok Temple behind the monk chat building.
